Team Mitra Out and About
Had a fantastic time out in the Lassen National Forest this past weekend, specifically, in the Caribou Wilderness Area. I set out to find a campground that was close to great trails, beautiful mountain lakes but not crowded with people and found it in Caribou, just east of Lassen Volcanic National Park. We stayed over-night at the the Silver Bowl Campground, hiked around Silver Lake and the next morning set out to hike the Black Lake Loop. Worth every step; Well signed trails, lake after beautiful lake and not crowded at all.
